Hotel - a facility for social distancing for NRI/NRK

The NRIs, NRKs need to be brought to homeland once we have adequately controlled the situation. This is a blueprint and solution for the same.

Prolonged lock-down can lead to economic slump, famine, law and order issues which can seriously affect the objectives of ongoing war against corona. There will be a point at which the economic, health, social impact of lock down can exceed the actual epidemic impact. So once the data proves that the infections are under control lock-down need to be lifted but in phases.

Who would need to reserve Hotel/home stay?

people who are NRI/NRK will have to brought to country and protocols need to be in place to control further infections from these people.

The people can be brought to homeland by air, road, rail facilities. Once they are in their home state, people need to undergo serological testing. Until these protocols are in place returnees must be put on compulsory quarantine for 28 days.

In this scenario hotels, home stays need to be made available for the quarantine facility. The returnees need t be able to chose the isolation facility based on their paying capacity. Those who doesn't have the capacity to pay need to be taken care by the government facility.

Which hotels can register?

WHO has clearly mentioned protocols, precautions and contact less safety measures to be followed in hotels and restaurants. We will be creating localized versions of these in all Indian languages and start distributing them starting from high tier hotels and moving down.

Only hotels following these regulations will be allowed to register in our network, on boarding will be done through a comprehensive control panel. Hotels will be provided with an app in which they will be able to receive booking requests and can accept/modify requests.

How will be regulations enforced?

The health officials at district level need to ensure that each hotel ready to on board is following the safety and precaution protocols, also the staffs are trained and healthy.

The super app for home stay booking

The returnees once reported to the officials can use the super app to book for hotels based on their paying capacity and transportation convenience. It can ask for the point at which the returnee can reach from the (eg: returnee is from foreign nation and can reach till Airport) country, state they are coming from. The super app intelligently lists the options of hotels at different price ranges close to the point he can reach. Once the hotel is selected a request is sent to hotel owners, when the hotel accepts the request and on successful completion of payment the returnee need to be transported to the hotel safely. The super app can identify this need for the user and once the user asks the app to find taxis for him/her the super app again comes handy.
